After 24 hours of magical firework displays in all major Cities across the world, we have all finally entered the new year

London certainly excelled itself at midnight.
With an impressive firework display by Big Ben and Parliament on the Thames, the London Eye was transformed for 12 minutes into a riot of exploding light, looking like a veritable Stargate ushering in and opening not 'other worlds' but the New World, 2007 - The New Year.

And we awake in 2007 to Beautiful pale blue sunshine filled skies.

It is said Man can achieve whatever he sets his Mind to
from transplanting hearts to journeying to the Moon too
from Internet and communications at the speed of light
to fireworks which fill the night with displays oh so bright

But what Man here & Man past seems to find hardest of all
to find it in his heart to wish Peace & Good Will to One & all

If doctors & surgeons were genuinely to set their minds to heal
like those scientists who seek out the stars with such great zeal
it is evident it all has much greater reward & much more appeal
if we add a little selfless love + lots of good will to the whole deal
